mWORC™ is a suite of mobile applications for field force automation that integrate directly to the billing system through
Mentis' Real-Time Response (RTR) platform. mWORC is a vertically integrated system combining provisioning,
work order management and customer service for service providers.
Bridging gaps among
multiple legacy systems, mWORC supports
the tactical deployment of products with applications that address the need for speed and flexibility in rapid-growth business environments.
mWORC is part of a suite of solutions based
on Mentis’ Real-Time Response (RTR)® Platform, an open
system architecture supporting business-to-business transactions over multiple user interfaces,
permitting the operator to extend application functions and integrate with best-of-breed components while capitalizing
on existing infrastructure and technology investments.

mWORC may be applied in part or as a whole system. Users gain access through a browser-based GUI component. Combining
server-side business rules and application logic provides a flexible front-end
to billing and provisioning systems. Using the solid foundation provided by
Mentis' RTR platform, a customer can access enterprise systems using native components
for payment processing, inventory management, data warehousing, calculating commissions and performing order-entry.
A browser-based user interface allows dispatchers and workforce managers to allocate quota and manage quota calendars
in real-time for all geographic areas in a dispatch region. mWORC interfaces with either internal workforce management
databases or external billing systems and can operate as a fully stand-alone product. Productivity tools are provided
to allow managers and dispatchers to open quota based on templates, modify quota real-time and close quota calendars in bulk.
mWORC is often configured to update billing system scheduling databases in real-time, allowing
mWORC to coexist with
enterprise customer care/call center systems.
mWORC pushes the entire spectrum of work order management functions to enterprise users. The Web-based interface
allows regional managers, dispatchers and technicians to access the system from diverse locations and platforms.
Small offices can leverage the enterprise system via the Internet with minimal client-side investment. Technicians
can access the system through wireless access protocol devices or mobile PCs. WORC's flexible interface enables revolutionary
distributed workforce solutions and outsource opportunities.
- Traditional work order functions for assigning, scheduling, canceling and closing work orders are provided.
Auto-assignment of work orders to technicians or fleet vehicles by geographic area or
other rules speeds-up initial work order assignment, allowing dispatchers to focus on immediate tasks.
- Work order service and account information can be updated.
Search and filtering capabilities allow dispatchers to effectively manage work orders by type, status, technician and locations.
Bulk action functions allow blocks of work orders to be assigned, printed or rescheduled by dispatchers.
- Based on user profiles, billing system information such as ledger balances, account history and account notes
are made
available to mWORC users.
- Reporting functions allow live and scheduled reports necessary to manage workforce actions. Examples include
work orders closed by type and region, percentage of on-time completion, cancelled work orders by reason, past and future
jobs by type and payment reconciliation. Regional workforce managers can manage technician performance and enterprise managers
can assess regional dispatch center performance.
